Trust and transparency

How FinAssist product content is reviewed.

This policy explains how we describe FinAssist features, handle AI-assisted content, keep product information current, and respond to corrections.

What we publish

  • Product pages explain features and workflows that are supported by the current app, public website, or internal product documentation.
  • Guides should answer a clear user question and distinguish general financial education from statements about how FinAssist behaves.
  • Availability, plan, and platform statements are checked against the current public product information before publication.

How claims are checked

  • We prefer first-hand product behavior, current app documentation, and official service information over unsupported marketing claims.
  • We do not invent testimonials, reviews, user counts, credentials, performance guarantees, or financial outcomes.
  • AI may help draft or organize content, but published claims are reviewed by a person against available product sources.

Updates and corrections

Features, plans, prices, and supported workflows can change. When a material change is identified, we update affected pages and remove claims that are no longer supported. If you find an inaccurate or unclear statement, email support@finassist.net with the page URL and the correction you recommend.

Financial information boundary

FinAssist helps people record and understand their own expense data. Public content is for general information about the product and personal finance workflows; it is not individualized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Check important records and consult a qualified professional when your situation requires it.
